Bronson Alum Named Michigan Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Jessica Rivera (Class of 2005), who was named Michigan's Teacher of the Year! Jessica teaches AP Biology at Kalamazoo Central High School and credits her passion for science to her days in Mr. Henderson's chemistry class at Bronson.

"Bronson gave me the foundation I needed," Jessica said in her acceptance speech. "The teachers there didn't just teach subjects — they taught us to be curious, to work hard, and to care about our community."
